When may intensive disinfection of treatment units be necessary
Intensive disinfection of treatment units may be necessary in various situations.
For example, if the unit is older and has not been serviced for a long period of time.
If there is a problem with the disinfectant mixing system.
If a treatment unit needs to be cleaned after treating a patient with a highly infectious disease,
to minimize the risk of transmission of pathogens to other patients.
Intensive disinfection may also be necessary if a treatment unit has not been used for a long period of time or if contamination with blood or other body fluids has occurred.
It is important to follow the manufacturer's recommendations and applicable hygiene guidelines to ensure that intensive disinfection is carried out correctly.
How do we proceed with intensive disinfection of treatment units
For intensive disinfection, we only use approved liquid disinfectants, which we run through all water circuits of your treatment unit and then allow to take effect for a certain time according to the manufacturer's instructions.
We also replace parts such as mixing containers, filters and certain hoses if necessary to achieve the best possible result.
